Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapeutic foot massage for health and well-being .It is a method for activating the healing powers of the body. This is done by alternating pressure on the energy zones of the body through reflex areas on the feet. This enhances the body’s natural immune system. Improving circulation, cleansing the body of toxins and balancing the entire system. Reflexologists believe the feet are a mirror of the body. Granular accumulations of waste matter concentrate around reflex points. This waste is in the form of Uric acid and Calcium crystals. Reflexology breaks down the waste and opens blocked nerve pathways helping to flush away toxins .The greater the tenderness of the reflex, the greater the imbalance in the body.

Reflexology is a master body of knowledge onto itself .
A Reflexologist never prescribes or diagnoses, but provides their services in addition to a Medical Practitioner.

Reflexology is a Complementary Medicine.
The origins of Reflexology reach back to ancient China, as is the case with many Holistic therapies. Also to Egypt, where hieroglyphics, dated 2330BC, in the physician’s tomb at Saqqara, depict a practitioner in action. Different forms of working the feet to effect health have been used all over the ancient world .Use of the therapy was also witnessed in Germany and Russia over 200 years ago .The therapy has evolved over time culminating in the scientific world recognizing it as a useful form of therapy .It is now viewed as a factual treatment with evidence of it’s therapeutic qualities being unearthed every day.
